Grant award means pitch fence renewal can begin.

Exciting news from our grants coordinator Tracey Stevens. We have very kindly been awarded £3721.00 by the 'Making a Difference' grant scheme which is managed by the Hambleton District Council.

The grant was awarded to the club as part of the renovation project to renew the pitch perimeter fence. The fence is old and in a poor state of repair. As a result of this there have been number of issues with livestock breaking onto the pitch and causing havoc for the groundsmen.

Alne U15's are League Champions 2017
and preparing to take the double.

A fantastic season for the Alne CC U15 boys who only lost one game all season to take the joint Champions title for 2017.

They have also qualified for the Samuel Webster Hambleton League trophy which will take place at Easingwold CC 3pm on the 10th September. The playoff is against joint league winners Masham CC so it should prove to be an exciting one!

U9's League Success

Well done to our U9's on winning the South Division and making it through to the League Finals Day held at Bedale CC.

Although we were sadly pipped at the post on getting into the final we have had an exceptional start to our U9's campaign.

Well done everyone and good luck to all those moving up to our U11's.

New Nets

Posted November 2016

We are delighted to announce that the new training nets are now completed.

Massive thanks to Peter Clark, Tony Raper, Yogi and Chris for all their hand work.

The netting has now been removed for the winter months to protect it from the elements but will be up and running again in the spring.

Following £15000 of grant money being awarded to the club we have been able to purchase a new square and wicket mower for the ground (which will keep Yogi smiling) and also buy us a new kitchen which is due to be refurbished over the winter months ready for the 2017 season.

Coaching Equipment

An application also went in for additional coaching equipment but was sadly unsuccessful. However, after chatting to the grant advisor they have asked us to resubmit with some additional this space.

Equipment Sponsorship

There are various pieces of training equipment which would make a huge difference to the club.

If you or someone you know would like to sponsor any of the items please get in touch.
